Iquitos – Amazon River (3 Days / 2 Nights)
Iquitos is the icon of tourism in the Peruvian jungle.

Iquitos – Amazon River 3 Days / 2 Nights
Day 1.- Flight Lima - Iquitos
Arrival at Coronel FAP Francisco Secada Vignetta
International Airport (Iquitos). Reception and transfer
to the hotel. Free night to enjoy the downtown life
of the capital of Loreto. Excellent cuisine, fun
and many unique people. Overnight at hotel in Iquitos.
Day 2: Sailing through the Amazon
After breakfast at the hotel, we will leave to the port
of Nanay. Departure time 09:00 AM. There, we will embark and
first we will go along the Momón River to visit the tribe of
the BORAS. In this stop, we will have the opportunity to share
with the natives some of their customs such as the dances and
their production of crafts. We will participate with them in
an unforgettable experience. After the visit to the BORAS,
we will continue our route to the tribe of the YAHUAS. In
this opportunity, we can appreciate their handmade products,
share dances, practice shooting with the blowguns and
enjoy their verses in the native language. Next we will
sail to the encounter of the Nanay River with the Amazon.
A spectacular landscape and meeting of the waters of these
two rivers. If we are lucky we can see the Pink Dolphin
that lives in these areas. Then we will sail a few minutes
to Monkey Island. In addition to various varieties of
monkeys, here we can see Macaws, Sloth Bears, Anacondas
and other animals. Unique experience to be in full contact
with these species that are rescued from the area. Then
we will go to the restaurant where we will have the
chance to enjoy a buffet lunch with the freshest and
exotic products of the area. After lunch, we will go
to the Pedrito Estate where we can see the wonderful
Victoria Regia (floating aquatic plant) ), we will also
see Macaws, Turtles, Lizards, we will be able to feed
the Paiches and the Piranhas.
At the end we will start our return to the port of Nanay
where our van will take us back to the hotel in the city
of Iquitos. Arrive at the hotel at approximately 6:00 pm.

Day 3: Bethlehem and Quistococha
After breakfast at the hotel, we will depart at 08:30 AM to
the Belén sector. In this neighborhood of the city of Iquitos,
we can observe the most traditional area of the region. Its
public transport that still works with WOOD buses. Here we
can see all kinds of food in the area, an immense variety of
fish, fruits and other local products. During our tour of the
Paquito passage, we will visit producers of energy drinks,
healing herbs and different craft concoctions for all kinds
of therapias. We will also have a panoramic view of the
neighborhood of Bethlehem. Go on with our tour in the
outskirts of the city. After the visit in downtown,
we will leave to the Manatíes reserve.
This farm has the mission of rescuing these wonderful
marine mammals that live in the Amazon. We can also observe
beautiful vegetation, macaws, turtles, monkeys and otters.
Here we can also find the Guapo Colorado, one of the rarest
species of monkeys. The next stop is the Recreational Center
Quistococha. Here we will have the opportunity to see the
Pink Dolphin giving a training show. We will also see
different varieties of monkeys, birds, fish and the most
beautiful vegetation in the area. Within the complex, we
will have free time for lunch (INCLUDED) in the area of the
Laguna de Quistococha. Spectacular landscapes and restaurants
that prepare typical food at the moment and in our sight.
From here we will go to the hotel. End of the route. Transfer
to the airport. End of services.
